The natural cycles of life affect us in many different ways.
Some we have adapted to and follow their patterns and rhythms,
but others we fight against and usually find it a constant battle,
because you can't fight nature. - However, we can learn to tune
into nature and live life to the full.
There are other natural cycles like the seasons - Spring; Summer;
Autumn; Winter; - the tides; - and the phases of the moon, which
we know exist but can do nothing about, so we just accept them
as natural and go with their flow.
Once we recognise how these unseen forces affect our lives,
we can learn how to harness them and use them to our advantage.
Biorhythms are the continuous physiological changes which recur
in our lives with seeming regularity. In fact, they are a never-ending
series of cycles, which can be accurately measured.
Becoming aware of these cycles and learning to measure them,
can help you to plan your life and live it more positively and
effectively.
That means you can look forward to the days when you will be
at you peak, - Physically, Intellectually and Emotionally and
take advantage of those days to achieve great things.
You may be interested to know that Mark Spitz, who won
seven gold medals in the 1972 Olympic Games, between 27th
August and 8th September, had a double peak in both his
Physical and Emotional Cycles during this period. This is
a powerful combination indeed , and must have contributed
tremendously to his success in the swimming pool.
On the negative side, it is said that Donald Campbell, the
water speed record holder, died in his powerboat 'Bluebird',
on a day when his Biorhythms showed a double critical day.
One critical was alleged to have been in the Intellectual
Cycle. This may have made his judgment slightly suspect.
Of course, as you can imagine, when performing at such a
high level, and at such high speeds, any slight error of
judgment can prove fatal. He may have been wiser to postpone
his run that day. If only he'd known?
More up to date, if we look at the Biorhythms of the record
breaking 'Open Championship' winner, Tiger Woods, we note
that his emotional cycle was in the positive phase and his
physical cycle was rising rapidly during the period of the
championship. I wonder if this made the difference and gave
him an extra edge?

Medical
research has proven that Biorhythms play a part in the development
of illness.
Colds,'flu and other infections tend to tighten their grip
on certain critical days of our Physical Cycle and conversely
at certain other times we recover much quicker.
Heart attacks and strokes tend to occur more often at certain
critical times.
Wouldn't
it be Amazing if you were able to
